Thank you to DuckDuckGo!

We are proud to be included in DuckDuckGo’s 14th year of donations as part of their annual program to support organizations across the globe dedicated to strengthening privacy and digital rights. DDG has donated $50,000 to Restore the Fourth, a record-breaking contribution that will certainly go a long way in bolstering our advocacy.

Since 2008, DuckDuckGo has expanded to be an all in one digital privacy tool that offers Private Search, Web Tracking Protection, Smarter Encryption, Email Protection, Android App Tracking Protections, and much more. This year, they introduced the ability to privately and securely sync and backup bookmarks, passwords, and email protection settings between DDG browsers across devices. Privacy does not have to be an uphill battle, and we thank DDG for their innovative approach.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude toward DDG for supporting the work we do. Without support from organizations like them, we would not be able to fight for stronger Fourth Amendment protections in the digital space and beyond. Restore the Fourth has a major year ahead – we’re gearing up for the next FISA Section 702 reauthorization in 2026, building momentum behind the Fourth Amendment Is Not For Sale Act, and leading the way on privacy advocacy in a new Congress and administration. DDG has strengthened the fight for civil liberties that lie ahead.

You can read more about DDG’s charitable donations program here, which totals $1,100,000. Along Restore the Fourth, DDG supports the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), Signal, and the Surveillance Technology Oversight Project (STOP), all of which our mission is closely aligned. Once again, thank you to DDG for their generous donation and their work to realize a freer, safe, and private digital world for all.
